The most likely route to Menorca for UK holidaymakers is by air travel, arriving at the island's only airport in Mahon. The airport has recently undergone a significant refurbishment programme. Many of the budget airlines now fly to Menorca.

Although not essential, we recommend that you hire a car whilst visiting Menorca. This way, as well as making it convenient to get from the apartment to local shops and amenities, you can also explore the island more easily.

The apartment is a 20 minute drive from the airport. The roads on Menorca are generally very good and, because the island is only about 30 miles from east to west, it is quite easy to get to new places from Son Bou within half an hour.
